Job Summary:
The Door Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining doors and related hardware in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Door Installation: Install and align doors, including entry doors, interior doors, and custom doors, ensuring proper fit, function, and aesthetics.
Hardware Installation: Install and adjust door hardware such as hinges, locks, handles, and closers.
Measurements and Assessments: Take accurate measurements to ensure doors and hardware fit properly and meet client specifications.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and building codes to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Clean-Up: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper disposal of old materials and debris.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as a door installer or similar role in construction or carpentry.
Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of door mechanics, hardware installation, and building codes.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform tasks requiring physical stamina.
License Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
