Position Summary: The Computer Network Support Specialist works directly with clients and vendors to execute IT projects on time and within scope/budget.
Reports to: Client Services Director
Position Details:
•Configure and network workstation computers.
•Provide support with initial project scope/design.
•Participate in the planning, preparation, and deployment of new client technology solutions as directed by the Client Services Director
•Help ensure projects remain within scope and escalate concerns.
-Server migrations (virtual & physical), Firewalls, Switches, ISP Configs, Site Build Outs, application migrations/deployment, O365 deployment, O365 migrations, wireless deployment,
email encryption, MFA, Cloud migrations, etc.
•Incident escalation, especially for complex network issues.
•Assist with creating and updating processes.
•Submit daily time entries and updates on active projects in ConnectWise.
•Collaborate with the team to assess process improvement opportunities, tools, etc., to improve operations.
•Lead engineer for onboarding/offboarding clients, auditing client environments, and assisting the Account Management team with strategic recommendations.
•Document fundamental infrastructure changes during a project using a documentation system.
•Provide leadership by example in tone, actions, and execution of duties
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 4 years of IT experience providing technical support in a business setting.
• 2+ years of experience providing technical leadership and guidance to various internal and external audiences.
• 2+ years of experience in Project management.
• Ability to learn through various methods.
• Data entry-Accuracy is critical for this role.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Attention to detail.
