Job Description

BuildingPoint Mid-America is seeking an organized, creative Social Media & Events Coordinator to support our sales team and grow brand awareness across our territories. This role owns event logistics, social media execution, and co-op marketing administration for our Trimble, HP SitePrint, and LightYX portfolio.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys juggling multiple projects and likes seeing their work show up in front of customers at events, online, and in the field.

Responsibilities include:

· Plan and run trade shows, roadshows, open houses, field days, and workshops, including venues, contracts, catering, AV, and attendee check-in.

· Prepare the sales team for each event: calendar invites, agendas, equipment, and swag and banner materials.

· Execute the social media strategy by capturing photos, video, and reels on job sites and at events, and engaging with customer and prospect content.

· Respond to and route inbound leads from social channels and events.

· Capture event attendee lists in the CRM and hand them off for follow-up campaigns.

· Manage co-op/MDF programs with Trimble and HP SitePrint, including submissions, deadlines, and event metrics.

· Track event and marketing spend against budget.

· Coordinate print and magazine advertising, including graphics and placement deadlines.

· Maintain a shared marketing calendar of events, MDF, and advertising deadlines.

Required Experience

· 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination

· Hands-on experience managing business social media accounts and creating photo and video content

· Experience planning and executing events, including vendor coordination and budget tracking

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

· Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and comfort learning CRM and marketing platforms

· Willingness to travel within the region for events and job site content

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

· B2B marketing experience, ideally in construction or technology

· Co-op/MDF program administration

· Graphic design and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar)

· CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)
