Job Description

At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world. Founded in 2012, we're revolutionizing the real estate industry with our end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to seller and buyer clients.

The Transaction Coordinator role involves collaborating within our team to manage all compliance and administrative aspects of the listings, transaction, and commission process. Daily Agent interaction is a key part of this crucial operational role.

The support our Transaction Coordinators provide allows our Agents to focus on building client relationships and developing their businesses. Our team provides comprehensive support and acts as the central point of contact for all relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth closing process. From document preparation and deadline tracking, regular updates for all parties to a transaction and submitting deals for payout, your goal is to facilitate the process for Agents and clients at every stage. • Ensure real estate contracts are processed properly and in a timely matter, with a focus on the details
  • Manage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are met
  • Navigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission records
  • Provide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculations
  • Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents
What We Are Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience in a real estate transaction-processings function, coordination, accounting, or payroll function preferred
  • Familiarity with standard real estate forms used in Florida
  • Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent's contract data
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Customer service-oriented personality
  • Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred

Perks that You Need to Know About:

Participation in our incentive programs (which may include eligible cash, equity, or commissions). Plus paid vacation, holidays, sick time, parental leave, and recharge leave; medical, tele-health, dental and vision benefits; 401(k) plan; flexible spending accounts (FSAs); commuter program; life and disability insurance; Maven (a support system for new parents); Carrot (fertility benefits); UrbanSitter (caregiver referral network); Employee Assistance Program; and pet insurance.
